Hearing about how others are making disciples is a good reason to listen to podcasts. Over the years I have listened to many podcasts and here are some recommendations of podcasts that encourage and equip in being and making disciples.
Movements podcast with Steve Addison is a must for people wanting encouragement to “follow and fish”. Hear stories and insights from the field on multiplying disciples and churches everywhere. Steve uses a simple interviewing technique that allows the guests to tell their stories.
The On The Road podcast has been a favourite of mine for many years. In the 6 podcast seasons, Peter Lindell (Pheaney) explores the answers to the questions of What does No Place Left mean? Can my church start a movement that would cause the gospel to reach every corner of my city? Can I?. Peter interviews guests who are pursuing movement, shares skills and tools you can put into practice, and always includes awesome stories of God at work. Especially listen to the early seasons.
The Disciple Makers Podcast exists to tell stories about disciples of Jesus who make disciples. Discipleship.org, who sponsors the podcast, exists to Champion Jesus‘ way of disciple making. Episodes are published in thematic seasons. They have have free and premium/paid episodes. Most episodes are about 1 hour long and were recorded at the annual National Disciple Making Forum.
The Disciple Making podcast by Tim Beadle and Daren Wride has been useful to me as I followed them as they wrestled with being legacy church pastors and become more aligned to what they saw Jesus was asking followers to do. In their candid chats, they seek to show how someone can be an effective disciple of Jesus Christ who makes disciples.
The H3X podcast are conversations unpacking the head, heart, and hands of the multiplying church and her leaders. Join practitioners on the path as they equip you to be and find multipliers through interviews, conversations, and training in simple tools. New content for disciple makes and church planters goes up weekly on Tuesday mornings.
I trust that you found useful these recommendations of podcasts that encourage and equip in being and making disciples.
